Free Survey and Engineering Courses at MIT

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has complete on line access of their entire curriculum with some 1550 courses ready for download and use. The only caveats are that no certificates or diplomas are awarded upon completion,nor are the faculty of MIT available for questions. 

Courses that may be of value to the Professional Land Surveyor include those in the fields of “Civil and Environmental Engineering”, “Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences , or courses included in other departments such as “Architecture “. A complete listing of all Departments are available here.

Unfortunately, none of these courses can be credited to any CEU requirements.since there is no verification of either  progress, or satisfactory completion.  The only thing you have is the satisfaction of increasing your knowledge base and your professional skills.  Perhaps that is enough.
